Moodee Studio (“Moodee Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use The Shop Planner at planner.moodeestudio.com (the “Service”).
By using the Service, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
1. Information we collect

- Purchase information: Your name, email address, order number, purchase date, purchase amount, and payment or refund status.
- Account information: Your email address, login activity, and account details needed to provide access to the Service.
- Questionnaire responses: Your business or brand name, products, pricing, sales channels, customers, business goals, challenges, store URL, and any other information you choose to include in your answers.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information about yourself or others in your questionnaire responses.
Payment information
Payments are processed through ThriveCart and its payment processor, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. These providers may collect and retain billing and transaction information under their own privacy policies.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Process purchases and provide access to The Shop Planner.
- Create, display, email, and allow you to download your Shop Strategy Brief.
- Provide login links, account notifications, purchase confirmations, and other essential service-related communications.
- Save your questionnaire responses and Briefs so you can access and manage your work.
- Provide customer support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the security and operation of the Service.
- Understand how customers use the Planner and improve its functionality.
- Send promotional emails about business growth resources, relevant services, and offers only if you have opted in to receive marketing emails.
- Manage personalized offers, including your Web Edit discount, where applicable.
- Meet legal, accounting, and other legitimate business obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or use your questionnaire responses for targeted advertising.
3. Marketing emails and your choices
You may choose to receive marketing emails from Moodee Studio by selecting the optional marketing consent checkbox when using The Shop Planner.
If you opt in, we may send you occasional emails about business growth, relevant resources, Moodee Studio services, and promotional offers, including The Web Edit.
If you do not opt in, you will still receive essential emails needed to deliver the product you purchased and manage your account. These may include login links, purchase-related messages, and delivery of your Shop Strategy Brief. You will not be added to our marketing email list for promotional follow-ups.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. You may also contact us at hello@moodeestudio.com to request removal from our marketing list.
Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not stop essential service-related communications.
4. How artificial intelligence is used
The Shop Planner uses Anthropic's Claude API to help generate your Shop Strategy Brief based on your questionnaire responses and our internally developed strategy framework.
Your responses are processed to generate your Brief. We do not use your questionnaire responses to train our own AI models. Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by its applicable commercial API terms and privacy documentation.
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or omit relevant information. Your Brief is intended as general business guidance and should be reviewed using your own judgment.
The Shop Planner does not scan, visit, or analyze your website. If you provide a website URL, it is stored as part of your responses and is not automatically visited or analyzed by the Service.
5. Service providers
We use third-party providers to operate The Shop Planner and deliver its services. These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary for their services.
- ThriveCart: Checkout, purchase processing, and order records.
- Stripe: Payment processing.
- Supabase: Database, account authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel: Application hosting and related technical logs.
- Anthropic: AI processing to help generate your Brief.

These providers may process information in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable contractual obligations.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The Shop Planner uses necessary technologies to support functions such as login and account access. We do not intentionally use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies within the application.
Your browser may temporarily store unsaved questionnaire responses on your device. ThriveCart and other third-party services may use their own cookies or similar technologies when you interact with their services.
7. International data transfers
Our Service providers may store or process information in the United States. If you access The Shop Planner from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we process. Connections to the Service are encrypted, and account access is provided through email-based login links rather than passwords.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. How long we keep your information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to legal and operational requirements.
- Planner accounts, questionnaire responses, Briefs, and PDFs: Generally retained until two years after your last activity, after which they are scheduled for deletion.
- Usage logs: Generally retained for up to two years.
- Purchase and accounting records: May be retained by ThriveCart and Stripe for the periods required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

- Transactional emails: Handled and retained by our email provider according to its applicable policies.
We may retain limited information for longer when required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent for marketing emails.
You can view and edit your questionnaire responses and access your Brief through your account where those features are available.
To make a privacy request, contact hello@moodeestudio.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
Deleting your Planner data does not necessarily delete purchase records retained by payment providers for legal or accounting purposes.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, content, or security. Please review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as The Shop Planner, our business practices, or applicable legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
